Debra Messing - About My Design

I love gold, I always have. It’s timeless, chic, rare, sunny, and is a precious metal that stands the test of time. The leaf motif was a great source of inspiration. Robert Lee Morris and I were inspired by the idea that our leaf is the oldest, dating back to prehistoric times - it’s a survivor - which ties into the children who are served by YouthAIDS - we hope to increase the survival rate of children worldwide, through education and intervention - and our leaf is sustainable - which ties into our responsibility for conservation. And finally, the quote inscribed inside the leaf is by Emerson, and highlights the virtue of patience - that it is integral to progress.
