Mattioli
Mattioli has been operating since the 1850’s in Torino: it is actually owner of the historical “1 * TO” hallmark, the first to be issued by the city. Always marked by the distinctive character of quality and design value, success came at the beginning of the seventies of last century. Started as a small “atelier” of 20 people, they are now carrying on a 140 employee business. The Mattioli family took over Antica Ditta Marchisio in 1995. In 2000, when the company decided to develop an international brand which could express all its incredible know-how and its “made in Italy” style, Licia Mattioli, managing director, was introduced to replace the former brand “Max Art.” Mattioli built its fame on its well-known handcrafted chains. What they have done is keep this extraordinary heritage and adapt it to their new philosophy, always starting a new collection from a new chain or a new link, then developing it by interpreting modern luxury and fashion. Through new materials and colors they have transformed a classic element into modern art.
